Георгий-победоносец

Андедно выглядящий Георгий-победоносец, напоминает андедов из Disciples. Вообще данная игра является сплошным укором дндшным иллюстраторам,которые в большинстве случаев ставят в книги такие картинки, что от них даже андедам захочется блевануть.

This is a beautifully colored image that appears to be St. George the dragon slayer. It has a shiny appearance.

We have here, in Moscow, a ravine, in which as the legend says, St George was fighting with a dragon.

In Moscow? I have never heard this legend or that a location was given to the fight, but this sounds very interesting.

Sorry to be so late in commenting. Several states have been hit by a major earthquake and I'm about an hour drive by car from the epicenter. There has been moderate damage in my area.

Now I'm off to bed. I hope to read my friend's posts tomorrow.

You will see two stones on the photos. The legend says that these are the remains of st. George`s horse, killed by a dragon. Now it is a place there pagans are doing their rituals.

This ravine is a strange place. Tzar`s summer residence is one hundred meters from it. On the other side of the ravine stays a church and some people think that Ivan the Terrible buried his famous library deep under it.
