You wrote this is a screen shot from The Searchers. This is not a real body which has mummified? It looks like a real body to me.

Yes, it`s real. This document show is devoted to the study of rare and unusual things. Authors were trying to understand why did such mummy appear bc there are no obvious reasons for the natural mummification.

Once in a long time here in the US we will hear of a body discovered in the attic of a house and it is mummified. Of course the attic is very hot and the coroner usually says that the extreme heat and other right conditions caused the mummification. Usually the person was murdered and put in the attic because the murderer did not know what to do with the body. But that had to stink very much for weeks and weeks I would think.

You find the most interesting things to post.

Thank you, it is the primary purpose of this journal - to collect information about strange and unusual events.

This mummy is a very special one bc the climate in this place is not so hot and dry to cause natural mummyfication. And this man was living long ago during the times when nobody was using such technologies. He was the father of Kutuzov, famous russian general who was fighting Napoleon.

Your journal is one of the most interesting I know about. I enjoy the unusual photographs of historical images whether they are old gravestones or this mummy. I am glad they were able to determine who the man in the photograph was.
